Anamaria Derek–Rotation Graduate student
Anamaria obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Zagreb in Croatia. She subsequently pursued a Master’s degree at Biozentrum, University of Basel, where she worked in the field of structural biology, investigating potential antibiotic targets in Gram-negative bacteria. As a first-year PhD student and Biozentrum Fellow, she joined the lab in November 2024 for a rotation project, focusing on the transcriptional regulation of coronin proteins.
